solar eclipse today.

A vividly colour-bocked figure of a woman, standing with one knee bent out and one hand on her hip, slightly bent over as she puts her other hand covering her face. The background is a colourful abstract of paint splatter, and at the figure’s feet are a few small humanoid shapes, as well as a mix of organic and geometric shapes suggesting tools and life-forms.

it can be a difficult time to make decisions as you weigh your options, but it’s not hopeless.

for one thing, you, or at least the people around you, may be experiencing more stress than usual, or higher degrees of sensitivity. this is to be expected with solar eclipses, and is most acutely felt for those who have 10° Libra activated.

so, how can we make good decisions under such potentially extreme conditions?

stress responses appear to exist for a reason: they often point to (/underline/highlight/embolden) very real safety and survival issues, as well as unmet needs in general.

heightened sensitivity tends to draw our attention to these concerns as well.

occasionally, or more than occasionally, we can channel superhuman strength to push through. the reality is that this is not a sustainable solution. it’s in the word itself: superhuman. sometimes, or a lot of the time, more exertion leaves us more drained, especially if we’re in a difficult environment to begin with.

a question to consider today: what’s riskier? continuing to support the typical response to stress and crisis? or choosing a different one?
